Ride route
Ride with us on a gentle circular route setting off and returning to Markfield Park in the southeast corner of Haringey. We head south along the river following NCN1 until Lea Bridge Road where we briefly join TfL Cycleway 23. We switch to C27 before crossing London Fields (C13) and heading through Haggerston Park; going directly west until we meet Hoxton Square.
Our return journey will use Haringey Cyclist’s nearest and ONLY Cycleway – C1 – which runs directly from Hoxton (Pitfield Street) to South Tottenham. We leave C1 to cross over A10 with a quick run back to Markfield Park. Our Cycling Festival information stall and active travel activities take place in the park until 4pm.
The ride is 11 miles and open to all who are comfortable with varied terrain and some marshalled road cycling. Children are very welcome if they can cycle this distance and should be accompanied by an adult. We will return to Markfield Park by 1pm.
