As is always the case with our community rides, it was great to see so many families and lots of children joining in the fun as we kicked off our ride from Down Lane Park. We counted roughly 40-50 cyclists as we set off for Tottenham Marshes – via the newly re-opened refurbished Park View Rd underpass – with our ride leader Laura leading the way.
As with all our rides, they are marshalled to ensure safe fun ride for everyone and we always insist on any children being up near the front behind the ride leader to set the pace for everyone else.
After leaving Down Lane Park, we headed east and made use of the recently reopened Park View Rd underpass, which allows for safe passage underneath Watermead Way (A1055), before shortly arriving at Tottenham Marshes. After cycling around the marshes, we proceeded west towards Lordship Recreation Ground via Bruce Grove, where we stopped for coffee at the Lordship Hub cafe.
