Show your love for cycling in Haringey with this family ride before the upcoming local elections

On the weekend before London goes to the polls, we will be letting mayoral candidates know that London Loves Cycling. There will be a chance to meet other cyclists, to tell your cycling stories and to hear theirs.

We will meet outside the Lordship Hub cafe in Lordship Recreation Ground at 1:45pm and aim to set off at 2pm.

This is a gently-paced, safely marshalled 4-mile ride, suitable for riders of all ages, but please note: all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Our route will be along quieter streets, and off-road through parks and some of Tottenham marshes and along the Lee valley towpath. The only hill to climb will be the one leaving Lordship Rec – you’re welcome to walk this short bit!

If you’ve not been on one of our rides before, below you’ll find some photos from some of our recent community rides to give you a sense of what they’re about. Please find general info for ride participants here.

We are planning to ride through Bruce Grove to the cafe at Stonebridge Lock and then down the river Lee towpath to finish at the cafe in Markfield Park.

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather and bring a snack and water.
