The 2024 LCC Women’s Freedom Ride is a Central London circular route of approx five miles round famous landmarks. It will be a great ride with a campaigning purpose.
Join hundreds of women, children and allies enjoying the freedom of a mass ride and calling for greater inclusion of women in regular cycling.
For the journey in, you can meet us from two points: (1) Green Lanes junction with Carlingford Road, near Turnpike Lane Underground station and (2) Finsbury Park, just inside the park at the south entrance, Finsbury Gate.
Meeting times:
(1) Please arrive Green Lanes/Carlingford Road by 10:30; we will depart by 10:45
(2) 11:00 at Finsbury Gate for immediate departure
Our feeder there and back will be marshalled by our team following quiet roads and cycleways where possible plus a few bigger roads with traffic lights and junctions. We will look after you and noone gets left behind.
For returning to Haringey, meeting time will be approx 15:00 at Lincoln’s Inn with a return to Haringey 16:00 to 16:30. You can return with us or make your way by public transport. Please check TfL and Great Northern for cycles on trains policy if that’s what you need.
